Founded in 1990, Resource Development International (RDI) is a provider of high-level management development interventions that are interrelated and focussed on the provision of skills development and performance enhancement for individuals and organisations, specialising in distance learning.

RDI is the world's largest independent provider of UK University qualifications by distance learning and comprises an international group of companies with its headquarters in Coventry, UK.

As a result of its continued success, the current RDI headquarters had become too small for the growing business; therefore these new facilities were designed to incorporate a series of multi-functional offices and business facilities.

The current sketch scheme proposal as shown includes for the development of a derelict area of land, to create a new office complex, with car parking and landscaping.

Challenges include working with the development of the A45 carriageway (Tollbar End Improvements), working within the flight area of Coventry Airport, and working with the Local Authority to develop a landmark building on the approach into Coventry, from London.
