Project Summary |
||||
The main Church was built in the late 19th Century, and is typically 330mm solid brickwork with brick buttress pier supports, render applied internally. There is a main (west) window to the front, with intricate gothic style stone detailing and leaded lights, and arched stone support over. The previous entrance vestibule had a mono pitched roof sloping away from its abutment with the main front wall. A Church Hall, Kitchen, Vestry and associated ancillary areas were built as an addition to the main Church, in 1999. The Church's vision included the construction of a new Welcome Foyer, in place of existing front vestibule, as well as creating visibility into the Church through an enlarged glazed opening connecting the Foyer to the main body of the Church. The main internal space of the Church was remodelled and refurbished, and included new stained glass windows, new Sanctuary area and new finishes throughout.
