Project Summary |
||||
Sapcote Methodist Church and Community Centre is based in the village of Sapcote, in Leicestershire. The Church is Grade II Listed, and was constructed in 1903 using an Arts and Crafts style, with Perpendicular style tracery to the front windows. The Hall, which accommodates a large Activity Room and cellular support spaces, was constructed in 1957. The Church's vision as part of this project included the construction of a new Welcome Foyer, linking the two distinct parts of the complex, to create a new unified entrance, accessible and visible to all. Other works included sensitive repairs to the historic fabric of the Church, re-roofing of the Hall, construction of new Storerooms, new Kitchen space, new Activity Room, a new Kitchenette and Children’s WC facility. |
